Payment KIT-N-SIT® requires payment with the initial interview and the balance due upon completion of the job. We accept cash or checks payable to KIT-N-SIT® .
Cancellation Often we are forced to refuse clients due to time availability; advanced notice of cancellations will help us to schedule the needs of our other clients. If you need to cancel scheduled visits we require notice at least 2 days prior to the first visit. Cancellations with less than 2 days notice will incure a cancellation charge of 25% of the total reservation.
Emergency Contacts Please ensure that KIT-N-SIT® has all necessary contact information during the initial interview.
Pet and Household Supplies For feeding, scooping, or extended absences, please ensure your pet sitter knows the location of all supplies, and that you have enough pet food, litter, etc. for the entire time you are away.
Key Policy KIT-N-SIT® must have a key to your home before you leave. We will not lock keys in the house after the last visit; we may need to access your home in case you are delayed and your pets need additional visits. We strongly recommend that you let us keep your keys for future services. Many of our clients enjoy the comfort of knowing that if something comes up such as, working late, iron or stove left on, your pet sitter has a key and would be more than happy to help you out of a predicament.
Bad Weather and Natural Disaster KIT-N-SIT® will always do everything possible to get to your home and care for your pets. However, we strongly recommend that you give a house key to a trustworthy neighbor in case roads are closed or impassable due to ice, snow, floods, etc. In the event of a natural disaster, we will do everything possible to care for your animals and secure your home.
Special Requests KIT-N-SIT® is happy to accommodate special requests, but we ask that you arrange for any such services in advance.
